CPA Ontario Challenge

The first daily challenge will require participants to leverage skills and work as a team to come up with a case pitch. They will then pitch their ideas to the judges. These challenges are to be submitted by 12:30 PM.

Sachin is a fourth-year student at the University of Ottawa pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce. For the past summer, he has been interning with Accenture as a Summer Analyst, and he hopes to enter consulting upon graduation. His past experiences include two Enactus initiatives, a student-run charity organization, and community consulting project. Outside of school and work, Sachin loves rugby, volleyball (indoor and beach), spikeball, and movies!

Berkeley Wilson is a recent graduate of Mechanical Engineering (BASc) from Queen’s University. She now works as a management consultant for PwC in their FFtF cohort. Prior to this, she worked as a mechanical engineering intern and then project management intern at Baffinland Iron Mines in Nunavut. Her hobbies include travelling (having gone from South Africa to Greenland in one summer!), playing sports, and writing novels.

He is also a 2018 recipient of TD Bank’s National Scholarships for Community Leadership and a newly invested honouree of the Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers!

What are the requirements to attend? Which universities are admitted?

Undergraduate students of any university or college in Canada or the United States are eligible to attend NCBC. Students need not necessarily be business students. Taking a gap year? Reach out to us at contact@illuminateuniverse.com

I'm late for the registration deadline. Can I still attend?

While ticket sales may be closed, Illuminate Universe may still be able to accommodate your team in late registration. Please reach out at our contact email.

What do I need to bring to the competition?

Your team should all have access to the internet throughout the conference. Paper and pens are recommended for taking notes during workshops.
